IPS Summer Scripture Conference
Welcome to the new ‘home’ of the Summer Scripture Conference!
Loyola University has taken the reins to continue this tradition launched in 1974 out of the encouragement of Vatican II, to bring understanding and study of Scripture into the forefront of a wider Catholic audience.
What will be the same?

- Social and other informal community gatherings
- Beautiful Grounds and Environment
- Free time for prayer, reflection, relaxation with optional activities and interesting sessions available
- Optional overnight stay
What will be different?
- Location will alternate between Loyola Campus in Chicago to traditional University of St. Mary of the Lake grounds in Mundelein.
- A slightly shorter event, Tuesday or Wednesday to Saturday

Maria Barga, PhD – Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at University of St. Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary

LOCATION – First time at Loyola’s beautiful Lake Shore Campus!
Meeting rooms and sleeping rooms with stunning Lake Michigan Views.
Multiple options for sleeping rooms all with private bath and on campus.
